The Story Behind the Crunch

We obsess over two things: the crunch and the dip. Here is why.

Crunch Science

A soggy fry is a failed fry. At a festival, your food sits in a box while you find a bench, grab a napkin, and take a photo. By the time you eat, most fries are dead.

Ours are not. We source premium coated fries with a gluten-free coating that locks in crunch for 30 minutes after frying — 135% crunchier than standard uncoated fries at the 30-minute mark. Thick-cut, skin-on, pre-fried in sunflower oil, then flash-frozen. We finish them in our deep fryer at the truck.

The coating is the science. The flavor is Skåne. We add sea salt, serve them skin-on for that rustic texture, and let the dips do the rest.

From-Scratch Dips. That Is the Whole Point.

Anyone can fry a potato. The dip is what makes us different. We make all five dips in our kitchen from real ingredients. No packets. No squeeze bottles. No shortcuts.

Our Skånsk Senapsmajonnäs uses traditional Skåne coarse-grain mustard — a blend of yellow and brown mustard seeds, vinegar, and a touch of honey. Skånsk senap has been part of southern Swedish food culture for generations. We fold it into mayo and the result is sweet, hot, and grainy in a way that nothing from a bottle can match.

Our Tryffel Aioli is roasted garlic meets black truffle oil and lemon. Rich, earthy, and the reason people come back. Our Dill & Gräslök Crème uses fresh herbs — a Skåne summer in a cup.

The Vegan Garlic Crunch is 100% plant-based mayo, roasted garlic, lemon, and black pepper. No compromise on flavor. Every guest eats well at Monster Fries.

Our wings are Swedish-raised. We buy them raw and frozen from Swedish producers, then glaze and sauce them ourselves in our kitchen before service. No pre-marinated bags. No mystery coatings.
