A vickning is the Swedish wedding tradition of serving late-night food — usually around midnight — to keep guests energised on the dance floor. It is the highlight everyone talks about the next morning.

How many guests can you serve?

Our standard packages cover 60–150 guests. For larger weddings we offer custom quotes — just tell us the headcount and we will build a package.

Do you need power or water on-site?

Our food truck is fully self-contained with its own generator, water supply, and waste tanks. We only need a flat surface to park on — no hookups required.

Can you serve vegan guests?

Absolutely. Our Crispy Cauliflower Bites are fully vegan and come with our plant-based Vegan Garlic Crunch dip. They are included in every package.

Q: How far in advance should we book?

What is vickning?

Vickning (also called nattamat) is the Swedish tradition of serving a late-night meal at weddings, typically between 23:00 and 01:00. It gives guests energy to keep dancing after the main dinner has worn off. Think of it as the best meal of the night.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking 4-6 months ahead for summer weddings (June-September). Popular Saturdays in July and August fill up fast. Contact us as early as possible to lock in your date.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Yes. Our fries use a gluten-free coating. We have a full vegan option (The Green Midnight). We can disclose all ingredients for every item. Let us know about any allergies when booking and we will make a plan.

Do you need electricity at the venue?

No. Our truck runs on its own generator. We just need a flat, accessible spot where the truck can park. Most barn and farm venues in Skåne work perfectly.

What areas do you cover?

All of Skåne is included in the base price: Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg, Ystad, Simrishamn, Österlen, Båstad, Falsterbo. For venues more than 50km from Malmö, a small travel surcharge of 1,500 SEK applies.

Can we do a tasting before booking?

Yes. We offer tastings for engaged couples who are seriously considering us. Get in touch and we will arrange a time for you to try the fries, wings, and all five dips.
